So, on the surface, it appears that the Gosselins have attained everything but on a spiritual level, they have nothing. The family is splitting apart before ten million viewers. It’s the American way and there lies the tragedy. This couple and so many in our society are blind to the fact that without God in the center, things eventually spin out of control.
06/ 29/09InVitro Fertilization defies both nature and God's laws. It is 'mad sciencentology' in modern day medicine right before our eyes--------Jenn Giroux, Women Influencing the Nation
06/ 14/09"The fact is second and third trimester abortions are committed rampantly in hospitals and abortion clinics across the country on a daily basis. If were true only three doctors nationwide committed them, they did a lot of flying. Kansas, where Tiller practiced, accounted for 'only' 459." --Jill Stanek, RN
06/ 07/09Kansas Democrats who received hundreds of thousands of campaign dollars from Tiller repeatedly intervened to block any interference with Tiller's abortion mill.
06/ 04/09When Wichita abortion doctor George Tiller stood trial in March, Scott Roeder was there in the courtroom. And after Tiller was acquitted on charges he had failed to properly justify late-term abortions, Roeder told a fellow activist that the whole process was a “sham.”
06/ 04/09After a private meeting with President Barack Obama's high court pick, Feinstein said Sotomayor has a "real respect for precedent" on abortion. That's code for saying Sotomayor will affirm the Roe v. Wade decision the Supreme Court handed down in 1973 that allowed virtually unlimited abortions.
06/ 04/09"Planned Parenthood is looking at these young girls as a plumbing problem: 'We'll get you that abortion and send you on your way,'" Rose told Reuters in an interview. "And that's disrespecting two human lives. It's destroying her pre-born child and sending her back to an abuser."---Lila Rose
05/ 28/09Howe acknowledged that if the court rules against his office, it might not have enough evidence to go to trial. He said he hasn’t made a decision yet on pursuing the case further for that reason. (yeah, right!)
05/ 19/09The number of births in the Houston area have more than doubled just nine months after many were left for days without power during Hurricane Ike........
05/ 19/09Catholics around the world were outraged when the pro-abortion Obama was invited to speak. Longtime Notre Dame philosophy professor Ralph McInerny was among them.
05/ 18/09Well, although a short article on celibacy is not enough to explain such a beautiful mystery, it is just enough to witness to a very dynamic way of life whose adherents have given life to millions throughout the centuries. (This is a must read.)
05/ 18/09A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, has found that 51% of Americans call themselves "pro-life" on the issue of abortion and 42% "pro-choice." This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking that question in 1995.
05/ 17/09Fr. John Jenkins, President of Notre Dame University, sits on the board of directors of Millennium Promise, an organization dedicated to fighting poverty in Africa that promotes contraceptives and abortion, it has been revealed.
05/ 17/09The Planned Parenthood Federation of America has released its annual report for fiscal year 2007-2008. According to Planned Parenthood's latest report, abortions increased to 305,310 abortions up from 289,750 in 2006.
04/ 10/09Tiller's late-term abortion income alone in 2003 was actually close to $1.2 million...
04/ 08/09Mission Statement of Women Influencing the Nation: “To defend and restore the dignity of women and children (both born and unborn)through educational resources as well as to preserve the traditional family according to Biblical values, the 10 Commandment ethics and in harmony with the over 2,000 year tradition of Christian civilization under the freedoms of the Constitution as envisioned by our founding fathers.”
History and our current efforts...
Women Influencing the Nation was formed in the Summer of 2003 and originally began when a group of women (all mothers)from different states across the country decided to organize and speak up, each in our own local community, to defend the right of a Christian and Catholic to produce and make a factually based movie that was true to the Gospels of Jesus Christ. This, of course, was when Mel Gibson was being attacked for making the movie The Passion of The Christ. Our efforts exploded onto the national scene and over 200 leaders emerged as representatives of Women Influencing the Nation. (See "Project" link at top for details of this first project which received over 22 million 'hits' in just 10 months). As a result of our efforts we became a voice for traditional minded women in America today with our Executive Director, Jennifer Giroux, defending the Catholic Faith and Family on major television and radio outlets such as CNN, Fox, MSNBC, COMCAST NEWS, and many others ever since. Mothers today carry a enormous burden. We live in a world where it is now a luxury if one is able to stay home full time with her children. Yet we truly believe that 'the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world'. Women Influencing the Nation sees the devastation that the radical feminist movement has brought down upon the family in the last 40 years and it is our challenge to uncover the lies, reverse the damage, and reclaim the respect for women that has been lost in America today. We hope to once again instill a love for children and to re-ignite a desire in young women, especially, to have large famlies again. Truly, we must spread the word that "the greatest gift you can give your child is another sibling". We are losing this concept today. In America we have subconsciously adopted the China mentality. Sadly, most young married people believe they should only have one or two children. They have never been taught to remain open to Life and to consider accepting the children that God entrusts to them. One way to un-do this attitude is to expose the work of Planned Parenthood. We strive to expose and show the extensive damage they have done to women over the years. Our challenge is to create a positive love of all children again. God does not create any mistakes. Women Influencing the Nation believes in the right to Life from natural fertilization to natural death, and that God has supreme rights over all of us.
Women Influencing the Nation also speaks out against In Vitro Fertilization and artificial fertility treatments (including access to sperm banks and egg donation). These practices defy both natural law and God's law. We believe that the gift of sexuality is intended for inside of marriage (between one man and one woman).
We believe that the'Separation of Church and State' is a judicial creation that is intended to eliminate God from society and from our Children.
The power of the internet has made it possible for Women Influencing the Nation to connect tens of thousand of members in our group to become a powerful voice. Please visit our other project (www.chargetiller.com) to see a prime example of what we can accomplish.
Women Influencing the Nation (WIN) is the very opposite of what those women proclaim at the National Organization of Women and Planned Parenthood--we can't be any clearer than that. Abortion, unreported rape of minors at abortion clinics, separation of parents from decisions of their teens homosexuality, Euthanasia, Gay Adoption, Sex outside of marriage....these all defy the laws of morality and have led to the very low place that we have come to in our country today.
However,Women Influencing the Nation is very encouraged to see how many have joined our efforts to reclaim the forgotten truths for women and the unborn to restore our families today. Please consider joining our email today. We have many women and men who believe as we do. They email and call to share their insights with us. We value your opinion and influence! Together we are making a difference.
