  • Planned Parenthood Abortion Center Closes Instead of Following New Law

Monday was the first day that Planned Parenthood, which operates the only abortion business in South Dakota, had to comply with a new state law telling women the truth about abortion. Rather than tell women abortion kills children and has numerous risks, Planned Parenthood closed its doors.

  • Planned Parenthood Needs More Scrutiny

Last year, Planned Parenthood performed more than 250,000 abortions, which account for about 1 in 5 of our country's total. Of all abortions, those performed for black women accounted for about a third of the procedures. It's also worth noting that a majority of Planned Parenthood's clinics are in minority neighborhoods.

  • Your Tax Money at Work Funding Abortions

For the last few decades, evangelicals repeatedly have mobilized and demonstrated to oppose the operation of abortion clinics. Over the years, many have believed that being anti-abortion had become a litmus test for their support of politicians and policies, which vie for evangelical votes.

During the last few years, everyone in the nation has come to understand that things are not always the way they appear with individuals or organizations. While all of us struggle to live up to our ideals, some groups live permanently in the land of personal or professional compromise.

SUPREME COURT RULING INDICATES THAT CRIMES MAY BE PRESENT INSIDE
PLANNED PARENTHOOD ABORTION RECORDS!!
"Kline has always had the authority and permission of the court to maintain possession
of the records"

Olathe, Kansas- In a ruling released today by the Kansas Supreme Court there are clear indications that crimes have been committed inside the abortion records that were used to charge Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid Missouri on October 16, 2007 with 107 criminal charges including 23 felonies.
"This is a major victory.  The Supreme Court has rejected the motion by Planned Parenthood to accept Former Attorney General Morrison's letter of vindication of all crimes against them that he issued back in June.  This sends the clear message that this case has strong evidence and we welcome this ruling to bring that evidence to the light of day," states Pat Adair, state Director for Women Influencing the Nation (WIN).
It has long been suspected that Paul Morrison used his office to try and hide evidence of crimes of the abortion industry as a campaign payback for their coordinated efforts and money that helped place him in the Attorney General's seat.  Actions by Attorney General Six indicate that he continues to carry the same water for Planned Parenthood by using his office to block due process of the courts in order to prevent the evidence from reaching a jury for review.
" The other great news of this ruling is the affirmation once again that Phill Kline has always had the authority and permission of the court to have possession of the redacted records."  Adair is quoting frrom the ruling by Judge Anderson which granted Kline permission to retain them:
from Judge Anderson's Memorandum Decision, dated April 18th, 2007:

"...most importantly, because the patient records have been protected as required, the Court declines to order the District Attorney to return his copies of redacted medical records of Planned Parenthood to the Attorney General."
"It is important to note," Adair points out, "that Kline scrupulously protected the privacy of those women who had abortions.  The court has ruled that there are NO privacy concerns because any and all identifying information has been permanently removed,"
Pat concluded: "Justice has been delayed far too long. For the safety of Women and young girls in Kansas, it is time for the evidence to stand on their own merits and for Planned Parenthood to stop running from accountablity to the law and the community."
